The official playoff format will be 12 teams. All 8 division winners will be playoff eligible as well as 4 wild card teams.
Our playoffs consist of 12 teams in total in a single elimination tournament. The 2 teams with the best records that have won their division will be the 1st and 2nd seed in the playoffs. The other 2 division winners will be the 3 and 4 seed. There’s opportunities for 2 other teams to obtain the 5 and 6 seeds in the wildcard slots. The 1st and 2nd seed of each conference will have a bye week in the 1st round of the playoffs. The highest seed will always play the lowest remaining seed in the playoffs. There currently aren’t plans for expanding the playoffs beyond 12 teams.
